Dreamy Thompson Island Wedding

Kate and Kathy tied the knot on Thompson Island, under the gaze of Boston’s skyline. An altar of old-growth trees danced with beige and cream ribbons that cascaded from their branches. Kathy walked down the aisle (linking arms with Kate) in a romantic, lace Jim Hjelm gown, while Kate said “I do” in a playful, full-skirted Cristos dress with adorable cap sleeves. Both women completely crushed it in the style department, and the entire wedding oozed romance.

Classic Bun Wedding Hairstyle

The classic high bun is go-to wedding hairstyle, but adding some texture and twists can really take it to the next level. Be sure to consider the wedding high bun if your dress has any type of intricate design or high neckline so you can really let the gown shine.

Claire Pettibone's Viola

Claire Pettibone’s wedding gowns always make us feel as if we’ve stepped into a dream. Her Viola gown, from the Windsor Rose China collection, is no exception. The embroidered tulle overlay features delicate lace flowers atop a platinum silk skirt with a mermaid silhouette. The super elegant Guiper lace trims and sheer back would make any one of us feel like a fairy princess.

Marsala and Plum Wedding Bouquet

Marsala is the 2015 Pantone “Color of the Year,” and we love how it is used in this stunning wedding bouquet. The subtle combination of beige, blush pink, green, and plum, paired with the marsala, is understated yet absolutely elegant. And, of course, you’ve got to have those trailing wedding bouquet ribbons.
