Mansion at West Sayville
Tucked away in the hamlet of West Sayville on the South Shore of Long Island, The Mansion at West Sayville combines the elegance of a formal estate with the playfulness of the beach. The mansion itself is a Colonial Revival gem, built in 1909 by Commodore Frederick C. Bourne as a wedding gift for his daughter. Today, the house retains much of its original splendor, including elegant chandeliers, dark wood trim, and multiple fireplaces, for an atmosphere that is both elegant and rustic.
